June 6 – At the annual Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award ceremony, several farm worker organizations held up the traditional symbol that was adopted in the early years of the farm worker movement decades ago. Robert F. Kennedy was a staunch supporter of farm worker rights and his children have continued the legacy.
